We are going into wet, windy and snowy season. As always, it is extremely important we all stay in constant communication with our teams. A few important notes:

Supervisors:

• Please make sure before ANY tech goes into the field, they validate all PPE is working. Especially: Amp Clamp, FVD/Tic-Tracer.

• Remind all your techs that if the situation is unsafe – do not continue on. Have them to reach out to you or a manager and address any and all concerns.

Technicians:

• Do not leave any ladder unattended and be aware of your surroundings – branches, drops or other wires that may be blown into their work space

• Remember touch and step potential, and do not touch any down cable lines without first validating they are not energized.

• Check your emails or text messages throughout the day, as updates will be coming from many different places; supervisors, managers, corporate office, dispatch and others.
